Bathtub Review

Posted on December 15, 2019January 7, 2020 by thekeptwife

You probably know by now we knee deep in renovations. If you follow me on Instagram or Pinterest you’ve seen both ideas and progress. I will continue to post updates so if you don’t follow me make sure to. I promise to continue being open and honest on my selections and how they turn out. You can read about my favorite bath items HERE.

I absolutely love the look of my new tub . If we were it on looks alone it would be a perfect 10. It’s exactly what I imagined for the space.

But nothing’s perfect and now that it’s fully operating, I feel like I can review it. I bought the tub & faucet both from Amazon and they arrived with 2 day Prime shipping. The tub was lighter than I expected which was nice since we needed to carry it up the stairs to the master.

Now for the bad things. The tub is super slick and you need a cute rug to keep from basically dying. (My rug came from Target.) Secondly, it is somewhat small. In its defense it was the size needed to fit into our already existing space so I really couldn’t have went any larger.

I would also warn you to be careful getting in that you don’t step on the drain and loose all your water while getting in. I like the look of the drain in the middle so I’m fully prepared to deal with this minor inconvenience but you can decide for yourself.

Overall, I’d give this tub an 8. You can purchase the faucet and tub on Amazon for your bathroom renovation project too.

Tile selections came from Lowe’s. Similar Tile linked below.
