With 4 days off and the kids on spring break, we load in the car and go meet princesses & princes! Planing a Disney trip to please 5 proved to be harder than expected. Our usual Disney Resort, The Caribbean Beach Resort’s, pools were under construction so we elected to stay off site at the Omni at Champions Gate (it’s always cheaper when booking on Priceline). The pools are amazing there with a water slide and lazy river, everybody was happy. Score! Want to know how we went without breaking the bank?
1. Only enter the park one day. Yes, it will be the longest day ever but at $100+ a person it’s really the best option.
2. Stay 4-5 days, not a whole week! Cutting out the extra days could save you enough money for a second vacation, or trip to Disney later in the year.
3. Plan your meals. Wether you elect for Disney dinning or not, plan your meals, easpically the costly ones.
4. Visit Disney Springs (Downtown Disney), the Disney Boardwalk, and the Disney Resorts for free! The Animal Kingdom Lodge is my favorite! Take a bus over and see the animals for free. Bonus Tip: see what time the free marshmallow roasting takes place and visit then!
