Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort Review

Posted on December 31, 2019January 10, 2020 by thekeptwife

Let me start off by saying, this is barely a step up from a value resort…barely. We stayed at Caribbean twice now and the second time had a terrible customer service experience.

Disney (or anybody else) in no way sponsored this post and all the opinions are my own based on my own experiences.

Overall, I’m ranking the CBR a 6 out of 10. The resort is clean and it is nice that they offer the extra pull down bed, allowing you to sleep 5 people to a room instead of 4. The pools are some of the most kid friendly on property as well. With water slides and lots of places to swim, it may make it a good option if traveling with kids who love the water.

During our pool day, we caught a really cool “pool party” featuring Mickey, Minnie and some of their friends. Again, they really only interacted with the kids, playing games and dancing with them. To me, this is a kid hotel, which hey, it’s Disney.

I do feel like Hilton’s Buena Vista Palace is a way better value than Caribbean Beach. No, you don’t get the full Disney experience staying with Hilton but they do have buses and magic hours.

If your looking for something with a similar budget but with a more adult experience on property. I would suggest the French Quarter or Coronado Springs. It’s all about what you are personally looking for in your trip.
