My Cleaning Ladies

Posted on October 5, 2017April 14, 2019 by thekeptwife

Let me start by saying if you don’t have some awesome cleaning ladies, you are missing out. When I tell people we use a cleaning service they usually give me the whole “you could clean your own house” spill and yes, it’s true, I could clean my house. Reality is, I still do things to clean my own house using a cleaning service is not a cure all, but it will change your life.

I didn’t always feel this way. In fact, I only started using a cleaning service out of desperation, you know the type because we have all been there. It was one of those big company type services where you get a different type of clean every time they show up. At some point though, it didn’t matter that I was paying them too much to do too little. It only mattered that anything they did was more than I had time to do myself. Which less face it, was sad.

A friend then introduced me to my current cleaning service and wow! are they different. They sweep, mop, make beds, & clean toilets, showers, sinks, baseboards, ceiling fans & such. Oh and when they leave … my house smells CLEAN!

No seriously, it smells clean, which is exactly how I judge if they did a good job or not. If your cleaning company isn’t doing a good job, speak up. It’s your money. If they don’t meet your expectations break up with them

Most companies offer weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly cleaning services….and trust me no matter which you choose it WILL change your life. I know because at different points over the past 3 years we’ve used them all.

Do you use a cleaning service ? How do you judge if they do a good job?
